Join us for The Garden Gathering, a community day at Lambourne End Centre for Outdoor Learning celebrating gardens, seasonal food and fungi. Explore the gardens, enjoy a seasonal farm and garden lunch, and discover the hidden world beneath our feet. We’ll be joined by Lotta from the London Mycology Project for a hands-on fungi cultivation workshop, where you’ll learn about mycelium and growing edible mushrooms. Together, we’ll explore how fungi can become part of our gardens and communities, while creating a mushroom growing space in the community garden. Come along to learn, explore, eat and grow together!

Drop-in fungi activities! FREE. Entry and all activities are free. Members of the public are welcome. Meet the animals, watch the competitions, try a heritage craft and pick your favorite horticultural display. Bathrooms, washing facilities and shaded seating available. The Mudchute cafe will be open all day for you to purchase food.
